Enleil Aho Performing with Linda George at “Black & White” Concert
We are proud to announce that Malfono Ninos Aho’s son, singer Enleil Aho, will be sharing the stage at the upcoming “Black & White” concert with Assyrian legend Linda George for the evening’s only duet! They will be singing “Girkeh-Shamo”, an ode Malfono wrote to the village he grew up in. The poem was originally recorded by acclaimed singer Ninib Lahdo and was re-released this year on Linda’s album “Linda George & Friends”. In addition to performing with Linda, Enleil will culiminate his appearance in the concert with an inspiring rendition of Atouraya Khata.
In recognition of Malfono Ninos Aho’s lifelong dedication to the Assyrian nation, part of the evening will be dedicated to his memory. In remembrance, a bouquet of flowers will be placed on the seat he occupied at the historic Alex Theatre during the Ashur Bet Sargis concert last year.
We invite you to join us in select seating (availability is limited). This event is guaranteed to be a night to remember, with many Assyrian musicians and professionals coming together to create a momentous experience. It is an honor for us to collaborate with everyone involved, together elevating Assyrian art to a new level. This concert is not to be missed!
